I'm a geriatrician and this has been my life's work for over 50 years. For the first segment, I want to address one of the most important issues related to the aged, and that is the proper use and risks and benefits of medications.
Not a day goes by then something is written in the media or on television about problems related to medications. Many individuals, because of their suspicion that perhaps the information they're getting from their physicians or from the media are inaccurate will result to their own social media searches, such as from Google. I often refer to it as Google mania, and the truth is there's lots of very useful, valid information on the search engines such as Google.

Dr. Michael Gordon recently retired after a fulfilling career as a geriatrician that spanned 56 years, 44 of which he spent working at the Baycrest Center in Toronto. He is Emeritus Professor of Medicine at the University of Toronto. Dr. Gordon is a recognized ethicist and a thought leader on all topics of care of the elderly and end-of-life decisions. Currently, Dr. Gordon provides part-time professional medical consulting mainly in the domain of cognition and memory loss.
