During these unprecedented times, the endurance of Canadian society at large and our healthcare system specifically are being tested by the mounting pressures inflicted by the COVID-19 pandemic. As a healthcare professional you are on the frontlines facing these challenges head on. It's becoming increasingly evident that this pandemic is a generational test and will require extraordinary and collective efforts to overcome.

In addition to the well publicized challenges, such as life saving PPE and vital equipment shortages, there are other aspects to this battle that require an ethical lense. If our system sustains increased pressures similar to what we continue to witness in some European countries, will we be able to cope, how will we respond, what unimaginable decisions may lay before us? Our panelists will tackle these questions.
