This month we invite our readers to visit the Canadian Cardiovascular Society's (CCS) website at www.ccs.ca

The Canadian Cardiovascular Society recently updated its website in order to enhance communication among Canadian cardiovascular professionals and to communicate the work done by these professionals to interested members of the public.

The content on the site is organized into three pages: The Society Page, The Science Page and the CME page. The Society section outlines the services available to CCS members and offers documents published by the CCS, such as position statements and discussion papers on public policy. The Science page is subdivided into three sections: consensus conferences, clinical cases and featured research. This section provides visitors with an opportunity to access and contribute independent scientific material. Visitors to the site are encouraged to exchange their ideas, opinions and reactions to new concepts and theories. The CME section provides a wealth of information on meetings that are CME accredited.

The CCS site requires users to register before they gain full access to the material available on the site. Registration for the website is free and is available to all healthcare practitioners in Canada. We hope that our readers will visit this site and use the information available for their clinical practice.

Each issue of Geriatrics & Aging features a website review of a site that is informative and useful to our readers. If you would like to recommend a site to be reviewed, please e-mail the details to info@geriatricsandaging.ca.
